FAQs

What are the pros and cons of bamboo sheets?

Bamboo sheets are cool and breathable, allowing you to get the best and most restful sleep every night. Made from sustainably-sourced bamboo, our bamboo sheets are durable, moisture-wicking and unbelievably soft. Bamboo sheets are also naturally temperature regulating so you’ll sleep comfortably without getting too hot at night, no matter what season it is. While bamboo sheets require more specific care than standard sheets, they’re worth the additional maintenance to ensure your best sleep.

Bamboo sheets are soft on your skin and can help you regulate your body temperature to help you fall asleep (and stay asleep) with ease. Bamboo sheets are available in a variety of sizes to fit any bed, including crib fitted sheets to ensure your little one gets the restful sleep they need to grow. Our bedding is available in twin to california King sizing. We also offer:

What is the best thread count for bamboo sheets?

The best thread count for bamboo sheets is 300—the equivalent to 1,000 thread count in cotton sheets. Our bamboo bedding is even softer than 1,000 thread count cotton sheets, ensuring you’re comfortable between the sheets every night. Along with thread count, you should also consider the quality of the fiber and weave of the sheets to determine the most comfortable bed sheets for you. Both the sateen and twill weave in ettitude’s bamboo sheets feel buttery-smooth on your skin to give you a better, cozy sleep.

Are bamboo sheets too cold in the winter?

Not at all! Even though bamboo sheets have a cooling effect, they are also temperature regulating. They keep you warm in the winter and cool in the summer to adjust to your ideal sleeping temperature (pretty clever, right?) Bamboo sheets keep the warmth produced by your body under the covers to prevent it from escaping and keep you comfortably warm even on the coldest of winter nights.

When summer comes around again, your bamboo sheets will do the opposite. They help you keep cool on warm nights while wicking sweat away from your skin so you’ll never wake up from the night sweats again.

Can bamboo sheets go in the dryer?

They sure can. Bamboo sheets should be machine washed with cold water on the delicate setting, then tumble dried on low heat. But, the most eco-friendly option is to line dry your bamboo sheets (if you can). Bamboo sheets can pill, just like any other fabric, so we recommend avoiding fabric softener and dryer balls. Your bamboo sheets can also be ironed on low heat for that crisp look.
