5 Best Bedroom Colours for a Good Night’s Sleep

Bedrooms are our private sanctuaries, and are usually painted in our favourite shades. While exploring the world of colours, we found that some colours are actually better than others for a perfect #bamboobeautysleep. Judging by a survey study done by Travelodge, waking up to Monday Blues may not be such a bad thing after all.
Blue – 7 hours, 52 minutes

Shades of blue are associated with soothing and calming emotions, and help to reduce blood pressure and heart rate. Most people reported that they regularly wake up feeling happy in a blue bedroom.

Yellow – 7 hours, 40 minutes

Shades of yellow can help stimulate your nervous system to aid in relaxation, and create a warm and cosy atmosphere for quality sleep. Perhaps we’ll dream sweetly of the warm sunshine bathing our faces on a lovely day in Spring.

Green – 7 hours, 36 minutes

Green creates a calming environment that helps us relax for a restful night ahead. Anyone up for a nap in a tranquil bamboo forest?

Silver – 7 hours, 33 minutes

Although silver is a metallic colour, it makes your bedroom feel luxurious with a moonlit glow, tricking your senses into believing it’s a soothing and calming night-time environment. Perfect time for some shut-eye, don’t you think?
